Write for Us Technology: Submit a Guest Post on SaaS, AI & Business
Want to Write for Us? TechSaaS Insider publishes practical articles on SaaS, artificial intelligence, software, apps, and business technology. If you have real knowledge in one of these areas and want to share it with readers who make technology decisions every day, we would like to hear from you.
This page explains who can become a contributor, which topics we accept, what every guest post must include, how our links work, and exactly how to submit your pitch. Please read it fully before you send anything. Pitches that ignore these guest post guidelines are unlikely to get a reply.
We offer two ways to contribute: editorial guest posts, which are reviewed on merit, and sponsored placements, which are clearly labeled. Both are explained below.
Ready to pitch? Jump to How to Submit an Article.
Who Can Become a Contributor
We welcome guest authors who can show real experience in their subject. You do not need to be a professional writer. You do need to know your topic well enough to teach it to someone else.
We ask for real experience because our readers use our articles to make decisions about software they will pay for, tools their teams will depend on, and strategies that affect their business. They deserve advice from someone who has actually worked with the subject, not a summary of what is already on the first page of Google. Our editors can help with structure and clarity. What we cannot add is your experience.
SaaS and Software Professionals
Founders, product managers, customer success leads, and marketers at SaaS companies, as well as developers and engineers who build or evaluate software. If you have chosen between competing tools, migrated a team to a new platform, or built something with an API, that experience is exactly what we want.
AI Practitioners
People who use AI tools in real work: marketers, developers, analysts, designers, and operators who have built an automation, tested several AI tools against each other, or changed how their team works because of AI. We are not looking for general explainers of how AI works. We want articles from people who have actually used it.
Business Owners and Operators
Founders, freelancers, consultants, and managers who can share real lessons about starting, running, or growing a business, with real numbers, real tools, and real outcomes.
Tech Writers and Reviewers
Writers who test apps, software, and devices over a meaningful period and can explain the results honestly, including what did not work.
If your article could be published on any tech website without changes, it is probably too general for us. We prefer articles that show what you did, tested, or learned.

Topics We Do Not Accept
To save time for everyone, we decline the following:
- Gambling, betting, or casino content of any kind
- Adult content or illegal topics
- Cryptocurrency promotions, token announcements, and investment advice
- Medical, supplement, or pharmaceutical content
- Lifestyle, fashion, beauty, or travel content unrelated to technology or business
- Generic lists such as “10 best tools” with no real usage or testing behind them
- General SEO advice articles with no original data or experience
- Articles that mainly exist to promote one product or service
- Content already published elsewhere in the same or a similar form
Quick rule: if your article would be equally at home on a dozen other websites, it is not specific enough for us.
Guest Post Guidelines and Quality Standards
Our standard is simple: would an experienced professional in this field trust this article? If yes, it will likely pass our review. If it is vague, unsourced, or could have been written without any real experience, it will not.
Length and Structure
- Minimum 1,000 words of genuinely useful content. No padding, no spun text.
- A clear H1 title that includes your main topic.
- Several H2 headings, with H3 headings where a section needs sub-points.
- An introduction that tells the reader what they will learn within the first few paragraphs.
- A conclusion with a practical recommendation or clear next step.
Formatting
- Keep paragraphs short, ideally 3 to 5 sentences.
- Use bullet points for lists of three or more related items.
- Use tables when comparing three or more tools, plans, or options.
- Write in active voice. “We tested the tool and found” reads better than “The tool was tested.”
- Use numerals for costs, measurements, and figures over 10.
Research, Sources, and Accuracy
- Every factual claim should be backed by a reliable source, or clearly presented as your own professional experience or opinion.
- Include at least 2 links to reliable external sources, such as official documentation, company pages, research, or government sites. Please do not cite Wikipedia or competing publications as evidence.
- Name specific tools, features, prices, and results wherever you can. Statements like “many experts say” without naming who and where will be edited out.
- Pricing and feature details change often. Please check them against the provider’s own site before submitting.
- Disclose any relationship you have with a product or company you mention.
Originality
- Articles must be original and unpublished elsewhere, including your own site, Medium, and LinkedIn. We check every submission.
- Articles with significant overlap with existing content will be declined.
AI-Assisted Writing
Using AI tools to help you write is not an automatic rejection. But an article produced mostly by AI with no real expertise, testing, or editing behind it will be declined. We care about whether the article shows real knowledge from a real person.
Our Link Policy
Links are the most misunderstood part of any guest post policy, so here is ours.
- Number of links: Up to 2 relevant links to your own site or resources are allowed in the article, in addition to the external source links required above.
- Where links go: They should point to live pages that are relevant to the article and useful to the reader, such as your website, a related guide, or a primary source.
- Anchor text: We place links within the article text and agree anchor text during editing. Natural and branded anchors are preferred over exact-match commercial phrases.
- Affiliate links: Not allowed in editorial guest posts. If your article includes affiliate links, it belongs under sponsored placement.
- Not accepted: Links to gambling, adult, or other restricted topics, pages full of intrusive pop-ups, and pages whose only purpose is capturing leads without helpful information.
- Sponsored links: Links in sponsored placements are marked with the sponsored attribute, in line with Google’s guidelines for paid links.

Editorial Guest Posts vs Sponsored Placements
Editorial Guest Posts
Editorial guest posts are accepted on merit: topic fit, author expertise, and article quality. We do not charge for editorial posts, and acceptance is not guaranteed. A strong article can still be declined because we already cover the topic or because another pitch fits better.
Sponsored Placements
If you need guaranteed publication, a more specific link placement, or the ability to include promotional or affiliate links, sponsored placement may be a better fit. Sponsored articles are clearly labeled as “Sponsored” and follow the same quality standards as editorial ones. We do not publish low-quality content, even when it is paid.
To ask about sponsored placement, email us at techsaasinsider@gmail.com with the subject line “Sponsored Post Inquiry” and tell us your niche, your website, and the topic you have in mind. We will reply with current details.
How to Submit an Article
Follow these steps to submit your guest post. Please do not skip or combine them. Pitches that arrive as full drafts without a pitch email are reviewed after those that followed the process.
Step 1: Check Your Topic
Make sure your idea fits one of our categories, has not already been covered on our site, and matches your area of expertise. If you are unsure, email a one-sentence description first and we will let you know whether it fits.
Step 2: Email Your Pitch
Send your pitch to techsaasinsider@gmail.com with the subject line “Guest Post Pitch”. Please include all four of these:
- Your proposed article title and a short summary of what readers will learn.
- Your background in the topic. Tell us what you have done, not just that you can write.
- A link to one relevant writing sample, or a short excerpt if you have none.
- Your website or professional profile link.
Pitches missing these details may be declined without review.
Step 3: Wait for Our Reply
We reply to every pitch within 3 business days. Please avoid sending follow-up emails before that time has passed, as this does not speed up review.
Step 4: Write and Send the Draft
If we accept your pitch, we will confirm the title, angle, and deadline. Drafts are due within 7 days of acceptance unless we agree on a different date. If you need more time, let us know at least 48 hours before the deadline.
Send the draft as a Google Doc or Word document, with your bio and a suggested meta description of up to 160 characters at the end.
Step 5: Review, Revision, and Publication
We review your draft against our standards. Most drafts need small changes such as extra sources, clearer wording, or better structure. We will request one round of revisions if needed and explain clearly what to change. Once the draft is approved, we handle formatting, on-page SEO, and publication, and we email you the link when it goes live.
